tonight

o.k., first of all, tonight a new year starts for jews born and honourary. so, rosh hashana tova ve metukah! which means (rough translation) 'may you have a good and sweet year'.

to celebrate k.'s going to have a shot of vermouth, a ton of apples, and honey in her tea. no fish cause it's gross. yak.

normally, holidays are time for family so one can feel loved and safe and in the right place. yes. well, i'm not so badly off after all, don't you think?

also, one is supposed to forgive all wrongs in the time between rosh hashana and yom kippur (day of atonement). and be forgiven. to start the new year without burdens, so to speak.

let me know how that goes for you.

all the best and love,

k.
