crazy day. moved more stuff from carrie's. cleaned appartment. spring-cleaned the front *and* back yard. raked, weeded, ripped out meters and meters of dry or rotting stuff. clipped branches. cleared winter garbage.
tomorrow i will be rolled around on a special board a la hannibal lecter...muscles are already in shock...
i'm bloody old!

Hi everyone! The jebuz-waffle on my ceiling told me to comemorate my second post (and Easter I suppose) with muppets trying out for the part of yoda. It makes sense to me and I like this better than being told to smite things.

i just wanted to add a wee bit about my favourite kind of blogs. well, apart from those published by my close friends, i particularly love blogs about...suprise, suprise...books, which category includes: blogs about books, about books on books, about reading, about writing, about illustrating them (including comics), about or of literary magazines (e.g. new yorker etc.). also i enjoy blogs about art of any kind, but it must be good (i.e. makes my brain tingle with admiration and awe). i've been finding more and more really great ones and now my only problem is to find time to keep up with it all! luckily many are updated only once a week. pheeew!

o.k., now i'm really going to bed.

if you've been wondering where i've been for the last several days....i've been very cunningly plotting to take over the world *k. cacles with evil glee* and let me tell you, i'm waaaaay better than pinky and the brain.
but now i've surfaced again and, as d. puts it, i am gracing the department with my presence.
i'm also much cheered by the full development in the spring situation! finally i can go fly a kite on the university bridge! and other such delights...
i also hurry to report that d. had broke out her hooker boots for the first time this season. she says that's cause all her casual outfits are in the laundry. but we won't be fooled. oh no!
in other news, cara, the temp is making another apperance here any day now. stay tuned.
