this is our new kitten, 10 weeks old, just lost his manhood today. no name yet.
he loves my big, soft belly of course. i don't know who's the bigger suck, him or me.

today is f.'s birthday. here he is as a young boy of 19 (holy shit! this is how long i haven't seen him;-( he is hiding from me in the shadows after he visited that old building to sell his kidney for some moonshine...

today's mood: desperately witty. and that's what the sas talk's title will be like. don't have time nor desire to fuss over it anymore.

in answer to c.'s comment/question to the previous post: yes, i am. i've finally given up the hope my student loan will come through (all readers of this blog get 80% discount).

it's been a work weekend really, everyone seemed so removed, and far away. maybe, because they are.
missed h.'s party due to feeling shity all afternoon.
bloody ipod, is giving me crap and refuses to cooperate. i think i'm going to call it 'bugger'.

however, managed to go outside every couple of hours, to breathe and remind myself i'm alive and well. well. well. small word, does it mean anything? you tell me.

oh, i'm sooo witty. and so smart i should be in mensa.

better day yesterday. started unpleasantly, but then ended not so badly;-P

last night's party

so, last night, on a full moon no less, k. had one of her famous parties. big success as usual, if she says so herself;-) everything still smells a bit smoky. actually, i'm getting wafts of burned wood from my keyboard as i type this...???
alas, no one was shooting so these picks are from the previous one, in june.
menu included sesame pretzel sticks from The Poland, with complementary hot chocolate. beer (domestic and imported), wine, rum, spirits, and campari were consumed likewise.

today was also the first day of school. so, k. got dressed up all prettily and skipped to uni. in the morning sunshine. only to find out that the classes don't start till tomorrow. BUMMER!
luckily lots of other geeks where already there too. not too mention the profs.
thursday k. has her first human osteology class as well as her first gender class. yay!
